AbhyasPro ("we", "us", "our") operates an online mock-test platform (the "Platform") that provides mock tests, practice questions and performance analytics for competitive and school examinations in India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you. It applies to every visitor to this website and to every registered user of the Platform.
2 The Service and Its Availability
AbhyasPro is built for students in India who are preparing for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examinations, Railway recruitment examinations, Banking examinations, and the Bihar Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. The Platform is intended for users located in India, and access to the Platform from outside India is restricted. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are accessing it from within India.
3 Information We Collect
We collect only the information that is necessary to operate your account and the Platform:
- Account information provided by you at registration: your name, mobile number, email address, state and city.
- Sign-in information: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google for the purpose of creating and signing you in to your account. If you verify your mobile number through Truecaller, we receive your verified mobile number.
- Test activity: mock attempts, answers submitted, scores, time taken and bookmarks.
- Payment records: the plan purchased, the amount paid and the transaction reference. We never receive, see or store your card details, UPI PIN or bank account details. All payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment partner.
- Technical information: device type and application version, and the country derived from your network address, which we use solely to enforce India-only availability and to protect the Platform against misuse.
4 How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and to sign you in securely.
- To conduct mock tests and to calculate scores, ranks and your progress.
- To process plan purchases and to display your subscription status.
- To send important account communications, including verification messages, password-reset messages and purchase receipts.
- To detect misuse, fraud and examination malpractice, and to maintain the security of the Platform.
- We do not use your personal data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to any person or organisation.
5 Cookies
The Platform uses only strictly necessary cookies and similar storage that are required for sign-in, session management and security. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not permit any third party to place advertising cookies through the Platform.
6 How We Share Your Information
- We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We share information only with trusted service providers that are necessary to operate the Platform — including Razorpay for payment processing and the cloud infrastructure providers that host our database, authentication and website — and only to the extent required for those services.
- We disclose information where required by the laws of India or by a lawful order of a competent authority.
- We never display your personal details (name, mobile number or email address) to other users. Leaderboards and ranks use anonymous identifiers only.
7 Data Security
- All traffic to and from the Platform is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and are never stored in plain text.
- Access to the database is restricted and audited, and administrative access follows strict security controls.
- Paid content, including questions, answer keys and solutions, is served only after the Platform has verified an active plan on its servers.
8 Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active and as necessary to provide the Platform. Transaction references may be retained for as long as required for accounting and legal compliance. When you request deletion of your account, your personal data is deleted within the period stated in Section 9.
9 Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal data that we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate details, including your name, email address, state or city.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data. To do so, contact us through the Contact page linked in the footer of this website, writing from your registered email address and including your registered mobile number so that we can verify your identity. We will process a verified deletion request within 15 working days.
10 Children's Privacy
The Board (Class 10 and Class 12) plans of the Platform are used by school students, some of whom are below the age of 18. If you are below the age of 18, you must use the Platform with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the age of 13 without parental consent.
11 Third-Party Services
When you sign in with Google, verify your mobile number with Truecaller, or make a payment through Razorpay, those providers process certain information under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies. This Policy governs only the information collected and processed by AbhyasPro.
12 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do so, we will update the "Last updated" date shown above and, for significant changes, notify you by email or through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
